Wooden boat (1976) built by Bell woodworking – excellent condition. The boat is excellent condition for her age and is competitive in club racing. In the last 10 years it has been hardly sailed and garaged for most of the time. It has a Milanes centreboard and dual control lines for outhaul and kicker. It has a measurement certificate. The boat was reconditioned around 13 years ago. This included: replacement of centreboard knees; repositioning of thwart for strength (following repair); complete revarnish and repaint; replacement of most fittings and all buoyancy bags. The boat comes with: 1 complete set of Pinnell/Bax (1997) sails and 1 extra jib; a decent Combi road trailer and trolley; a new Pinnell/Bax overboom cover and an undercover. Optional: Set of McNamara Sails for an extra £500 (main sail only used twice and jib used about ten times).

We are looking for new and caring owners for our pride and joy; Gin & Tonic. She is a much admired vintage sailing dinghy which was fully restored 5 years ago. She comes complete and ready to use with rudder,tiller, two sets of sails, all ropes and shackles which are needed to rig the boat, 2 x paddles, a road trailer and a launching trolley.

We have owned her for 3 years where she has been used on local lakes and also spent two weeks each summer exploring the various coves and inlets of Devon. She is in great shape, although we had planned to replace her cover this year (its water tight but has a few small holes and is worn on one corner) Other small planned maintenance jobs are to fix a slow puncture on the trolley tyre and replace to rubbing strips on the road trailer (although they only rub on the metal trolley, so are a very low priority) The main set of sails is in excellent condition and she zips along nicely- although we’ve never raced her. The hull has a few small cosmetic scrapes from last year which have been quickly touched up at the end of the season.

We store her out of the water on her trailer and raised on a homemade stand She is currently stored locally at a friend’s house as we have no room and can be viewed and collected from there. The boat is currently listed on Ebay, so don’t delay!! £900 ono
